Continuing Education
This month we helped two care leavers who approached us about participating in advanced training courses which will help them progress in their chosen careers. In both cases the care leavers had had to start low paid manual work (in order to survive) as soon as they left their orphanages. Now that they are settled in life outside the orphanage they are able to continue their education by night or at the weekends.
By funding this training we are allowing those already in work to improve their skills and to give them access to better paid work and more senior roles.
This on-going support is fundamental to Brighter Path’s mission.
